Elisabeth was born and raised in Paris. She studied at L’Ecole Nationale Supérieur des Beaux Arts de Paris before arriving in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a few months and then moved to Austin, Texas and later to Grand Rapids, MI. She has lived and worked in creative fields in many major US cities such as New York, Austin and Seattle. In 2020, she settled in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Elisabeth enjoys art making of many forms. She has worked prolifically as an oil and mixed media artist, mosaic artist, and has also upcycled clothing and furniture. She has also worked as an art instructor for more than a decade. Elisabeth currently teaches French at the Alliance Française of Austin. Recently, Elisabeth has been doing commission work, smaller precious pieces and has begun a new series of paintings.
